- 5 College of Business and Economics Mentoring Program by Haeryongdang
-
College of Business and Economics Mentoring by Haeryongdang contains differentials from other mentoring programs. It doesn’t finish after a single session; instead, its meetings are a continuing process. Each meeting is carried on in a one-on-one, one-on-two, or one-on-three environment, with the maximum number set as a policy in order to promote personalized assistance to the selected few in each session. One of this program’s purposes is to maintain healthy relationships between mentors and mentees for life. Through the pre-enrollment process, mentors can gather information from the mentees, making it possible for the students to be matched with seniors who can analyze students’ needs accurately. In addition to that, by creating a program where students can acquire the advice they are interested in, students are expected to receive help on life topics beyond their career path.

Initially, students were selected based on past grades and/or financial need; however, in 2016 the selection procedure was altered, instead awarding the most extraordinary team of students. Each team is composed of four or more College of Business and Economics students, who conduct assignments that are evaluated by alumni and faculty members. The team that creates the most profound collection of assignments is awarded the scholarship being presented by the alumni at that time.
